About me!
I am a highly experienced fire safety consultant with over 20 years of dedicated professional practice, providing clients with confidence through proven expertise, sound judgment, and a reliable, practical approach to fire safety management.
My career spans both independent consultancy and senior roles within the healthcare sector, including appointments as a Fire Safety Manager and Divisional Head of Governance and Risk within the NHS. These roles have given me a deep understanding of complex, high-risk environments and the importance of proportionate, compliant fire safety solutions.
I have also had the privilege of serving on the Board of the National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers (NAHFO), both at North West Branch level and on the National Executive Committee (NEC). This experience has further strengthened my insight into national standards, sector-specific challenges, and best practice across healthcare and beyond.
I am committed to continuous professional development and hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, alongside recognised fire safety qualifications. I am a Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and am registered on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register (NFRAR), administered by the IFSM. This registration demonstrates my commitment to delivering services that meet the highest standards of competence, quality, and professionalism.
To provide complete peace of mind, I am fully insured, with both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance in place under the National Fire Risk Assessors Register scheme.
